It is stacked with character with its deep black glass eyes.
I believe this to be by Dimitri Omersa for Abercrombie & Fitch and would have been retailed by the liberties of London.
Liberties were famous for retailing all different types of animals in the same leather-bound construction and style as seen with this Hippopotamus.
This is a perfect decorative item to be displayed on a mantlepiece or hallway stand.
