Duverdrey & Bloquel had its origins in a firm founded in 1867 by Albert Villonin Saint-Nicolas-d’Aliermont, near Dieppe, one of the most prolific towns for the production of carriage clock blanc roulants at this time, with their factory becoming the largest in the area.
