This example is adjustable, it adjusts by means of the centre knob which unscrews to allow it to slide apart. You then tighten the knob at your desired width, which then locks it in place.

In stunning original condition, only showing signs of age-related marks and patina which would be expected from such a loved piece of furniture.

It has its original upholstery and stud work.
