Swiss-made 15 jewel crown wind GS/TP General Service Temporary (or Trade) Pattern military pocket watch in good running condition. Fitted with the original black dial with its white and radium-coated numbers, coated on the 12, 3, 6 and 9 o’clock positions to give illumination in the dark, a couple of radium segments are missing.

It retains its original military hand, filled with radium illumination compound and its original small sub-second hand.

The bow is in great condition and tight, as is the crown. The base metal chrome-plated case has certainly seen some action, showing scratches, scuffs, and slight loss of chrome in areas that would suggest a detailed study of the photos provided.

The case is marked as GS/TP plus the military stamp followed by issue number 115579 stamped on the back of the watch, also present on the inside of the back cover are numerous amount of service and inspection marks, movement is running strong and starts on its own with no forced start required, its clean and bright 15 jewels Swiss-made movement with a lever escapement adjusted to 3 positions, the plastic crystal is in great condition showing only minor marks and scratched under a certain angle and light positions, the watch measure approx 54mm in diameter across the watch and approx 75mm including the bow, the weight of the watch is approx 85 grams.
