Antique 19th Century Copper Fire Log Coal Bin Cauldron With Lid.

Mounted on 4 lion feet which are hand riveted to the base.

This is a lovely big copper Cauldron, with an oval shape design.

Unusually it comes complete with a push fitting lid, made to fit perfectly.

The cauldron is in good well used and aged condition, it is not watertight.

There are dints and marks surrounding the piece.

One slight crack to the rear and a repair to the lid handle due to some cracking forming, however, it is still well usable and secure.

Would certainly be useful for a log-bin again or could be repurposed for a wine cooler or floral display holder.

34cm high x 31cm depth (front of the foot to the back of the foot) x 49.5cm long (handle to handle).
