Solid Silver Victorian Mourning Brooch.
The mourning brooch is in good condition and only showing minor repairs to the “C” shaped clasp and pin.
The brooch hallmarks indicate it was assayed in Birmingham. Followed by a makers mark of “M&J” this is difficult to tell due to it being worn slightly.
The date letters look to date it around 1883, however, again this is difficult to tell due to it being worn slightly.
There is a void in the back of the brooch where people would place a piece of hair or a picture.
Measurements are 3.5cm by 3.5cm
