Set of York Glass Company Pharmacy Apothecary chemist Bottles, all four in great original condition.
They have retained in the glass-made gold leaf and red-bordered labels which say “PULV: CARB: LIGNI:” and “ESS: LIMONIS “and “PULV: ACACIAE” and “INF: GENT: CO: CONC:”.
A couple of air bubbles are visible in all four, this is due to how they were made. A crack is present in one of the labels.
They date to around C1890, with stunning decorative bottle stoppers.
One rounded top, one rounded flat-topped and then two typical standard upright square-shaped stoppers.
These Would grace any kitchen or home environment, including a retail display.
Would be ideal for the storage of small trinkets giving you quirky and unusual storage options.
Large bottles “PULV: CARB: LIGNI:” is approx. 24.5cm high and 9cm in diameter.
Large bottles “PULV: ACACIAE” is approx. 22.5cm high and 9cm in diameter.
Medium bottle “INF: GENT: CO: CONC:” is approx. 20.5cm high and 7.5cm in diameter
The small bottle “ESS: LIMONIS“ is approx. 15cm high and 5cm in diameter.
All four are in exceptional condition for their age, with only a couple of small chips present in the bottle rim areas, but nothing serious.
