it is copper with a Brass handle, finials and base, Complete with a tin-lined interior.

Excellent antique condition, no damage to the metal with minor signs of usage given its use for many years, the interior should be thoroughly cleaned before use for liquids, beautiful patina, the cartouches are unsigned and suitable for anyone to add the personal touch engraving for presentation if required.

WMF is the abbreviation for Württembergische Metallwarenfabrik, which in English means Wurttemberg Metalware Factory. The history of this foundry is well documented. WMF was created in 1880 after the successful merger of two Wurttemberg foundries, the Geislingen factory belonging to Daniel Straub (Straub & Sohn) and the Esslingen factory of Alfred Ritter (A. Ritter & Co.).
