Antique Late Edwardian period Top Quality Solid Sterling silver Cased Gentleman’s Half Hunter Pocket watch in Very good condition and in perfect working order, presented in original ‘as found’ Jewellers Retail box.

The watch features a traditional Half Hunter with Black Enamel ring Display to the front case crystal, front of the case can be opened manually to reveal the dial which is in excellent condition fashioned in white enamel on copper with black enamel Roman Chapter display with sub-seconds, blue hands are intact and without oxidisation, original crystal to the dial is in place in silver bezel and without scratches or damage.

The Back of the Watch Case is also without Dings or damage and can be opened to reveal inner dust cover which in turn can be opened to reveal the movement which is a quality Three quarter plate English Lever affair with weighted balance.

The movement is Crown wound and pin set, with the crown being gold-finished and responding flawlessly when used, pin set button is also in fine working order.

The watch case is marked throughout for London assay office circa 1910 with the makers mark ‘R&S’ for Rotherham & Sons of Spon Street, Coventry & Holborn Circus, London.

The pocket watch is in lovely clean condition throughout, runs, sets and winds smoothly and keeps very good time.

The box for the watch is in good condition with only light cosmetic wear to the exterior from age and handling, box interior is velvet-clad to the floor with a silk trim edge, the inside roof is finished in padded silk with a lovely ledge printed in gold that reads ” Presented By The Watchmakers Alliance & Ernest Goode’s Stores-84 Oxford St. London W.
