Antique pewter 1910 WMF art nouveau Jugendstil wine bottle stoppers, decorative design and in great overall condition, one of the pieces is stamped with the WMF 1/0 stamp and the design is called the “Inspector”, I’m unable to find one on the second piece (may have rubbed off). I’m sure it is WMF, but without a stamp, I cannot be 100% sure about this.
However it is of the same period and style as WMF examples at least, so please keep that in mind, these are exceptional in every way design, detail and purpose, made by an exceptional maker, which manufactured stunning and very sought-after pieces.
One is approx. 11cm high and the other is approx. 8.7cm high this is with the corks, Without they are 7.4cm high and the other one is 6.5cm.
WMF is the abbreviation for Württembergische Metallwarenfabrik, which in English means Wurttemberg Metalware Factory.
