Lovely covered leather case with gold-tooled design on the exterior and interior.

The diamond-shaped pattern on the backside where the fold-out rest is present and intact, the interior is covered with silk and velvet covering which is in good condition.

Fold-out opening doors are secured with a lovely swing brass catch lock. The cross itself is made from bronze, it has been untouched and in original condition, the Scroll to the top of the cross reads I N R I.

I N R I is the acronym for the Latin inscription placed upon the Cross of Jesus Christ.
