St John’s Ambulance Poster: The Human Circulatory System
This original St John’s Ambulance teaching poster presents a detailed illustration of the human circulatory system.
The arterial system is shown on the left in red, depicting the network of oxygenated blood vessels throughout the body. On the right, the venous system is shown in blue, illustrating the return of deoxygenated blood to the heart. A smaller diagram at the top centre focuses on the heart and lungs, highlighting the pulmonary circulation.
