Solid Silver Sheffield Centre Fruit Bowl by Viner’s Ltd.

A fine solid silver Sheffield centre fruit bowl, made by Viner’s Ltd, also known as Emily Viner’s.

Viner changed the family name from Viener in the 1920s and operated from 1926 to 1967. This bowl is fully hallmarked and displays the early Viner’s Ltd maker’s mark, together with the relevant Sheffield assay and date marks.

The bowl is in exceptionally good condition, showing very little wear. It is a substantial and beautifully crafted piece, weighing approximately 520 grams.
