A Lovely black marble base with a signature to the bottom right.

The artist, Louis Albert Carvin, 1875-1951 (French). Louis Albert Carvin was a French sculptor, born in 1875 and died in 1951. He was known primarily for his sculptures of animals. He worked in bronze and terracotta.

The condition is good, showing light marks due to age. Great looking piece and is ready for display.

Measurements: 25cm wide 10cm depth 23.5cm high.
