Antique hand-blown Mary Gregory Clear Glass jug with white enamel etching of a girl in woodlands. In good overall condition for its age, no chips or cracks and only showing the presence of a few air bubbles, which would have been done when it was hand-blown into shape.
This is quite a large example piece.
Pontil mark present at the base.

Mary Gregory was an American artist known for her decoration of glass products at the Boston and Sandwich Glass Company in Cape Cod, Massachusetts. Gregory worked for Boston and Sandwich from 1880 to 1884. Gregory painted a wide range of items and one particular area was lamps and plaques of landscape scenes during her years.
